## Yes, Let’s!

Improvisers who collaborate and build on top of each other’s ideas will create much better scenes than improvisers who are all focused on their own ideas.

In this game, we will practice the most fundamental principle of improv - enthusiastically embracing each other’s ideas, then building on top of them by adding new information.

- Active listening. Focus on what the other players are saying, rather than planning your own response in your head.
- Agreement. Don't contradict the reality established by the other players, instead - build on top of it.
- Play to find out what happens. Don’t try to steer the scene towards your own pre-planned outcome, instead - be in the moment and respond organically to things introduced by other players.
- Let other players take the scene in their own direction, and help their characters have awesome moments.
- Make bold choices, but hold your ideas lightly. If you see that the game evolves in the direction incompatible with an idea you wanted to add - let it go.
- Just agreeing is not enough - make sure to build on top of other players ideas, add some new information to the scene.

**Player 1** suggests an activity by saying “Let’s do x!”.
> Let’s go defeat the dragon!

**Player 2** says “Yes, let’s do x, and…”, and then builds on top of Player 1’s idea - expands on it or adds something new.
> Yes, let’s go defeat the dragon, and let’s take his treasure and use it to overthrow our evil king.

Players keep taking turns saying “Yes, let’s…” until everyone has a go 3 times.
